WHO ARE WE?
We are servants who have learned how to allow God to lead us to those to whom we can minister. We have discovered experientially that Jesus words are true: “You have a saying, ‘Four more months till harvest.’ But I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields ready for harvest now.” (John 4:35 NCV)
Another principle we have discovered, and are eager to share, has to do with effectively sharing our faith to those ready to receive it. Basically, sharing one’s faith is primarily the right person in the right place, saying the right thing at the right time, to prepared hearts, hearts already prepared and made hungry by the awakening touch of the Holy Spirit.
55+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Our 55 years of ministry has taken us in directions we would have never chosen nor would we have believed possible. We have had the privilege of serving churches in 8 states. In some of those ministries we have had the privilege of working with Social Services by being foster parents and doing childcare for them. In the process our youngest daughter was originally a foster child that we took in when she was 13 years old.
We have also worked with prisoners at a State Prison Farm, even bringing several of them to church on Sundays. We have had the privilege of ministering to federal, state and county prisoners – both while imprisoned and when they were released. As a result we have had the privilege of having addicts, prostitutes, and HIV/AIDS victims in our home – some for overnight stays and some even for months at a time. As a result we have learned through trial and error how to minister to these people. We have also learned a lot about how not to minister to them.
As a result of our varying experiences we feel led in our retirement years to assist churches in ministering to those who have often been neglected. We also desire to show people how they can be led to these neglected people without actually looking for them.

ONE DAY AT A TIME
I'm only human, I'm just a man/woman
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am
Show me the stairway I have to climb
Lord for my sake, help me to take
One day at a time
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That's all I'm askin' of you
Just give me the strength
To do every day what I have to do
Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine
Lord, help me today, show me the way
One day at a time
Do you remember when you walked among men
Well Jesus you know
If you're lookin' below, it's worse now than then
Pushin' and shovin' and crowdin' my mind
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That's all I'm askin' of you
Just give me the strength
To do every day what I have to do
Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine
Lord, help me today, show me the way
One day at a time
